Frequently Asked Questions

Can't find your answer below? Use the contact form above and our team will personally respond within 48 hours.

Yes, absolutely! Donating footwear benefits the environment, helps clear out your closet, and directly supports the Nanhee Khawish Foundation in providing essential footwear to children across rural areas and government schools.

We accept gently used sneakers, casual shoes, sandals, slippers, sports shoes, gym shoes, dress shoes, children's shoes, and orthopedic footwear. Please ensure they are in wearable condition.

Financial donations can be made via direct banking transfers or UPI portals through our secure dashboard links. These funds help us procure brand-new school shoes in correct sizes and manage rural school transit logistics.

Sign up by submitting our online onboarding form or using the Contact Us form above. We offer roles in managing collection points, sorting inventory, and field coordination at distribution drives.

We regularly organise distribution events inside rural and government school campuses. Follow our social channels for event updates, or mention your on-ground interest in the contact form to get notified.

Message our team here. We'll share banner graphics, collection guidelines, and deploy an official pickup once the drive completes. We support drives in residential complexes, colonies, and corporate campuses.

Once you submit your location details via the registration form, an on-ground representative will call you back to organise a custom scheduled pickup date and time window that's convenient for you.

Voices of Impact

Real stories from donors, volunteers, and partners who walked this journey with us.

"

Donating shoes through Nanhee Khawish was the simplest yet most meaningful thing I have done. The team was so organised — they picked up from my doorstep within a day. Knowing those shoes are now on little feet walking to school fills my heart.

"

We organised a shoe drive in our residential colony and collected over 120 pairs in a single weekend. The NKF team provided banners, guided us throughout, and we got to witness the actual distribution at a government school. Truly moving.

"

As a CSR partner, we have worked with several NGOs — but NKF stands out for their transparency and ground-level execution. Every rupee is tracked, every pair distributed with care. Our employees are proud to be associated with this mission.

"

I volunteered at a distribution drive in a rural school outside Hyderabad. Seeing a child face light up when they wore their first proper school shoes — that moment changed me. I have been volunteering every month since.

"

I heard about NKF through Instagram and made a small financial donation. Within a week, they sent me photos of shoes being handed out to children at a school in our district. That kind of accountability is rare and deeply reassuring.

"

Our school became a drop point for NKF shoe collection drive. Students, parents and teachers all participated. It became a beautiful lesson in empathy and giving. We will do it every year now.
